Crochet scarves can take a long time to stitch, but this chain scarf is fast and easy to make.
I used worsted weight acrylic yarn and a size J/6 hook to make this scarf.
First, chain 100 and slip stitch to the first chain stitch to join. Fasten off.
Then, make 13 more of these chain necklaces. That's 14 total.
Next, gather the necklaces in a bundle, chain 12 and wrap it around the necklaces, slip stitch to the first chain to form a ring around the necklaces.
Working in the round, Single crochet in each 12 stitches and continue to single crochet in every stitch around for 12 rounds. Fasten off.
Finally, crochet a chain flower and sew a button on top.
I've tried different ways to make the chain necklaces into bundles, but this way is the easiest for me. The necklaces tend to get tangled using other methods.
